Freedom Quest Ministry

Believing in the power of God’s response to prayer in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ, Freedom Quest Ministry comes alongside those who desire healing from sexual brokenness—to pray, befriend, and celebrate choices that allow them to maximize their contributions to the Kingdom.

We also purpose to:

Provide a safe community where parents and friends can pray and effectively show Christ’s love to their loved one and each other.
Seek to educate the church on how to be Christ-like to those strugglers who look to the church for help, no matter what separates them from God.

We advocate healing prayer from a biblical base that includes

Talking honestly with God
Asking legitimate questions about our concerns
Listening to His answers
Responding appropriately to His message for us

Freedom Quest Ministry prays because God listens and responds in understandable ways when we

Approach Him with sincere trust and reverence
Seek Him and truly want the change He desires
Humble ourselves in confession and turning away from sin
Focus on God changing us, not others

You are worthy of prayer for God’s healing. We have ministered to youth and adults concerned with

Sexual issues: same-sex attraction, pornography, self-gratification, obsessions & addictions
Relationships: families impacted by same-sex attraction

God meets all who pray, whether prompted by Him, ourselves, or others.
The most difficult hurdle is often admitting we struggle and coming for prayer.

We serve the Body of Christ but are not formally affiliated with any congregation
or denomination. We are accountable to Christ, His Word, and the Freedom Quest Ministry by-laws and Board of Directors. We partner with the Shalom Ministry at Covenant Presbyterian Church and seek to come alongside other churches as
Christ leads.
